Being taught what its like to be trained..
We’re being taught how to write, by professionals who teach us what cannot be taught, in theory, to train us and give us perspective on the treacherous journey to become a journalist. We are told of what the ‘real – life’ situation comprises of, warned of their evils, familiarised with the elements and made aware of the threats. What should be done, what is taboo and some mandates, are pre-defined in an attempt to save those hands from the flame, alas, all in vain.
Defying every principal brick that puts holds these teachers together we’re being prepared to walk the plank, one suspended from a faulty establishment in the first place. It is not the rules lay down or the regulations put forth, but the underestimation of their roles. The power to be able to have a say in the formation of a hand full of student’s perspectives; struggles and flickers until it fades into the oblivion.
We’re corrected till we we’re their product, which over time is altered till we are our employers and finally in the irrevocable attempt to find ourselves, we fall prey to momentary voracity and succumb to the book. God helps those who help themselves, while, they help those who don’t need to help.

Visiting the Zoo
A) visit to the zoo..
B) visit to the zoo..
A little different from a wildlife sanctuary, a zoo under the pretence of preserving wild life, catches, cages and cons the creatures into living a life of a convict, for no fault of theirs. There’s the king of the jungle ‘the lion’, the assistant of the king ‘the tiger’ and then the kingdom follows, including the lower mammals, be it, monkeys, birds, deer, rabbits, alligators and so on and so forth. Reeling the concept into real life, adds a little fiction into the topic concerned here.
We, the people, free and independent embark on our individual journeys every morning, with plans for life and dreams for further ahead, we mark our territory where ever possible. Convinced by the fact that we are being taken care of by a higher power, in our case our noble government, if I may say so, we too exist at one level in this hierarchy, completely dependent on the system. Safe and content within four walls, we feel we have achieved in the concrete jungle. Then there are different people, people who are considered lower than us, are not socialised with and kept safe distance from, while both exist in symbiosis yet scrambling over each other’s shoulders. Constantly fretting about opinions, we succumb to people’s likes and dislikes and let them put us in the spotlight. So, the day does start, we walk out into the jungle, and struggle to keep our life as much as in control while dodging life & death situations at every nook, walk in herds, feel safe, return to our nest eventually and feel worthy, and blame everything on fate if not god. The visit is quite often and if I may dare say every day.

The De- Scription
Any attempt to describe oneself limits the possibilities of facts, whilst slithers into fictitious terrain
- Me; usually referred to as the stating of oneself, in first person and usually when speaking of oneself in situations where that person suddenly finds himself/herself either defending oneself (as do some popular tracks imply) or if not then holding oneself partially responsible for the part that in a uncanny twist of story, saves the day.
o Instances, justifying the above statement –
§ ‘Wasn’t me!’
§ In response to ‘who told you!!?’(aggressive), ‘He told me’(blame shifting)
§ ‘Who me?’ (modesty)
§ Me, myself and Irene (A movie)
§ It was me! (grammatical mass misconception error)
- A highly versatile possibility that this description holds also prohibits it, in its nature. Me, unlike I or myself, holds higher ground than the rest and feels should be rewarded solely, for its naivety, sometimes valour and at times sacrifice.
o Instances, attempting to justify the above statement-
§ ‘You should have told me, I would’ve taught him a lesson’ (strategically planned after hours of the danger of actually implying the real meaning would have subsided)
§ ‘He didn’t tell me, how was I to know?’ (Denial is not just a river in Egypt, but is definitely a perfect example to showcase the subtle yet understood demand for special notice, conditional hearing handicap to public announcements)
§ ‘He broke up with me’, ‘he tried to hit me’, ‘she said this to me’ (READ – subtly demanding shoulder, hand or attention)
The De-scripting/De-scribing
ü THE SPECIMEN USUALLY TENDS TO WAVER FROM SUBJECT at hand. HIGHLY OBSERVATIVE THUS HIGHLY DISTRACTED.
ü HUMOUR, is beyond essential. Essentials are usually extremely disconnected.
ü HIGHLY UNPRESUMPTIOUS, not judgemental at all, but very well opinionated.
ü V for Vendetta. “The multiplying villainies of fate do swarm upon them”.
ü Inspirations lie in literary genius pieces of work. The Deeper Meaning of Liff – Doughlas Adams & John Lloyd.
ü The current expression, being used at this attempt at de-scripting the specimen rules all others.
ü The Pen is not only mightier than the sword, but is also lighter and is available in various inks. What more than to be able to see paint words.
ü ““Are you like a crazy person?” response being “I’m quite sure they will say so..””. Dialogue courtesy V for Vendetta
ü Movies = Love = Movies = Love
ü Friends + Family + World Peace = Important – World Peace (World Peace for effect.)
ü Blue Pill and the red pill, put together look almost American.
ü Often lost in translation and when not, usually disoriented during the same.
ü Honesty is virtually real.
ü Music is the sap of the spirit, when stabbed with all the force in the world.
ü Everyone has a choice, let’s just say, this one is yet to exploit all available to her.
ü “Death is the only road to awe”
Courtesy movie dialogue ‘The Fountain’.
