Numb and happy..

Some situations don't have a way out. Thats it, its simple and excuse free. All those times in people's lives, they go on and on about how much of a bi**h life is, well deal with it man.

The government is bad, the world is going to come to an end because of global warming if not war, not that one is better than the other, your friends will leave you at one point, you WILL NEVER like your college, for some reason or the other, it will always rain when you don't want it to and usually the vice versa. So on and so forth. Accept it and move on, quit cribbing.

Some situations will always suck, as for the rest we have mastercard. :)

Trust the sunscreen.

Movie a minute..

After surfing this site for a bit, you come to wonder why exactly does the English language have sooooo many words to describe one emotion.

To 'like' something - To be fond of, to find nice, to find good, to find interesting and so on.

To 'dislike' something - To not be fond of, to not find nice, to not find good, to not find interesting, to dislike something, to get irritated by something and so on.

I fail to understand, why must all the extra words adding, enhancing or killing meaning to simple words, that usually come at hand when writing poetry or great literature become a part of our casual babble.

We could might as well talk less, and eventually end up doing more. But, quite the contrary. We judge people on how verbose their work is and how cryptic they might be.

At which crossroad of thought that seems to have been a result of utter boredom, I must conclude this psuedo comtemplative compilation of words and read this all over again.

P.s.The site mentioned doesn't really give a lot to the post. Apologies.

China waves the clouds away..

An article in the Times of India today said something about China being worried that the Olympics might be disturbed by the rain, which is why they have roped in some weather experts and some specialists from some special scientific field to find a way to keep the clouds off China.

Un-f***ing-believable man, I was stunned at how much everyone wants to tamper with nature. Global warming was a myth for the longest time for all those bafoons who took it lightly, thinking nothing like that could ever happen to 'us', because we obviously don't fall under the laws of nature... nope.. because we're Indians which in most cases makes us invincible.

We will litter because it is OUR birth right to do so and we will kill because, well.. because 'we just want to - and then we will rightfully blame it on some random religious group and evoke hatred'.. Phew. What ever. The dry spell almost had everyone cra***ng wondering why Mumbai's flooded July 26th last year, was this dry this year. Happy realisations people. Woooohooo!!

This or that...

Very unusual to the usual posts on this blog.. but I just thought of this the other day in reference to the reason why I'm posting articles with such franticism (not sure whether its a word though).

We keep expecting the perfect governer, at every point, we are either being told what to do, or are expected to ask someone how to do what, either ways, we want someone who we can look upto, or at the least, someone who knows what the f*** he's doing.

For one thing, we now know that our government doesn't... we also have a slight clue about certain college that might be imparting knowledge according to what they feel is important, while we may not think that way. What the f*** does one person do after which?

Guessing Answer No 1 - Shut up and keep studying, no knowledge goes waste.
Guessing Answer No 2 - Make a noise and refuse to waste your time, while you COULD be studying something that might actually be more usefull.
Guessing Answer No 3 - Refuse to study altogether, and waste a lot of money paid for it. Feel guilty for it and eventually frustrate yourself to death.

Eight Days a week

A friend of mine is a great fan of The Beatles, for all those who might not have heard a lot of them, you should, I'm sure everyone will find something that they like. I happened to be talking to her about how the 7 day in a week sytem and how ir needs to be changed now. Everything changes, the weather also sometimes plays games and keeps the relationship alive, so days in a week should change.

It is time, for the week to become a 4 day week. Where we work for 2 days not sleep for 2. Simple. What worries me is, the state of time management in this country. We want to make sooooo much of the little time we have. Work 20 hours a day, ruin your health, don't get enough sleep and feel good having worked all day long and retire for the night. Like, for instance our college, does not find it necessary to give their students some air or some time.

In the pretext of constantly being trained to perform in the real world scenario.. I think we're tired. I know I am. F*** it.

and then there was blood...

Someone on some News Channel asks some guy who had been called as a special guest to talk about something in relation to the shamefull state of Ahemdabad and its 17 bomb blasts recorded momentarily after what happened in Banglore..this special guest was asked who according to you are these 'mujahidins', so he callously replies "the muslim people..". I was stunned... These are the people who are looked upto by the country when making random comments on national television.

I know for one, I have some of the closest friends of mine who might be Muslim by religion but have thoughts that are clearer and a mind that is more beautiful than I have seen any.

Ahemdabad was in pieces.. a sad day in India, and the terrible part remains, all of us who read news and watch visuals of people lying injured in bed don't seem to get bothered one bit. 'Its normal dude, I heard someone, we all know politicians are &%($)## - easy to abuse and even easier to get comfortable with the fact that we happen to related to all those people who died or are lying in those hospitals,if not by blood or relation, then by nation. I really hope people dont lose their sensitivity amongst all this, that shiver should still run down your spine everytime someone innocent somewhere ends up being the victim.

Bitter Sweet Symphony

After the recent tiff at the parliament, it gives me great relief as a citizen of this highly saleable country to know that it is only this easy to buy off the people who apparently have been granted with the power to take decisions not just for one person or a group but for a country!

For meagre amounts of money people don't mind switching their votes, indirectly giving away their loyalties and the saddest part is accepting the fact that our integrity sells for so little that it is in the range of being bought.

Movies like Rang De Basanti inspire people for an instant and in the next its all back to black. Books like 1984 and also one of my favourite movies 'V for Vendetta' talk about the power that one person has, trying to portray an example of what that one man is capable of.

What we can we can afford to conclude at this point is, that either our government is too inspired by our movies or vice versa. Either ways we get to watch an entertaining scenario take place and get affected to some extent. When we go watch a good movie, we walk out inspired, when we watch our politicians getting bought off with crores flying around the parliamentary dome, we feel angry or something on similar terms. Both the situations evoke very strong feelings in different spheres, but last only momentarily.

Now that we know that the scenario is actually as fake and made up as it was imagined to be and framed in 35mm, we are now to refuse to accept it and will now find a way to live with it at peace.

So the bottom line remains what it was in 1949(what ever that year was known for), we now know that we have no say in the political scenario of our country....
voting is a farse...politicians are indeed what they have always been imagined to be - corrupt to the core....we will remain concerned till the time NDTV flashes it in our faces, and the moment the TV set goes off and the news print fades away.... our own little lives will continue as if nothing happened, ignorant of the bigger picture, and will smear our priority lists replacing it with the ever lasting illusion of 'everything will after all be ok'..

P.S. - Is ok...indeed ok?

Questions remains unchanged, answer remains unchanged. Part 1 - Act I'nfinite. 'The bitter yet sweet symphony of our own little microscopic country.'
