and then there was blood...

Someone on some News Channel asks some guy who had been called as a special guest to talk about something in relation to the shamefull state of Ahemdabad and its 17 bomb blasts recorded momentarily after what happened in Banglore..this special guest was asked who according to you are these 'mujahidins', so he callously replies "the muslim people..". I was stunned... These are the people who are looked upto by the country when making random comments on national television.

I know for one, I have some of the closest friends of mine who might be Muslim by religion but have thoughts that are clearer and a mind that is more beautiful than I have seen any.

Ahemdabad was in pieces.. a sad day in India, and the terrible part remains, all of us who read news and watch visuals of people lying injured in bed don't seem to get bothered one bit. 'Its normal dude, I heard someone, we all know politicians are &%($)## - easy to abuse and even easier to get comfortable with the fact that we happen to related to all those people who died or are lying in those hospitals,if not by blood or relation, then by nation. I really hope people dont lose their sensitivity amongst all this, that shiver should still run down your spine everytime someone innocent somewhere ends up being the victim.

I feel blaming the Muslims 4 each n every attacks/blasts takin place in r country is nw bcm a trend..
A single thought is not given at all b4 makin ne statement..especially wen u kw dat u r bein heard live on TV..
If dis continues then expect 4 such blasts as der's a limit 4 each community to take such statements..

Many time it has been said by many intellectual poeple through media that 'Terrorrist doesnt have any religion'. But it seemed like the media (a particular channel...supposed to have a self and social responsibility) itself invited a guest to discuss 17 blast issue in Ahmadabad to whom as soon as, a channel journalist asked a question...who are these 'mujahidins', he answered 'Indian Muslims....which r realy shocking. I cant imagine a *** news channel can be so stupid and irrational in handling this sensitive issue and showing such a baseless views to millions of people just to gain the TRPS???Shameful!!

I agree with Tanvi. Whenever anything happens Muslims are blamed first and then the investigation is done..Bt the fact that ppl have nw started making such statement on news channels is quite disguising!!!

Thoughtful connection of the important issues of our time.
There is noway that one should ever be use to the fact of blasts and religious blaming out of ignorance and frustration (both highly distructable).
Yes, that particular news channel must be on its way to the hall of shame after that incident.I only question the crediblility of the news channel editor(how can one falter in a choice like this,at a time like this) . ..Again was the guest called to attract unrequired attention or to make sense? (I dont know) but our guesses certainly will soon start to cross the line of trust if it hasent already is)

What's happening is unfortunate, but what's making it worse are certain entities in our society who are just looking for reasons to blame a certain community!

At this, I'm very well reminded of the line that ended the last scene in Khuda ke Liye. It says, "Just the way I haven't hated America for what they did to my fellow Muslims post 9/11, I wouldn't want you to hate Pakistan for what a few Muslims did to America."

Give it a thought....
